The schedule of examinations through 2020 has been approved by the North Carolina State Board of Examiners in Optometry. The examination dates may be expanded or contracted depending upon the number of applications received by the Board for that particular examination.

The scheduling of the winter examinations is conditioned upon the number of applicants for the examination. If there are less then ten (10) eligible applicants on the date of the application deadline, the applicants will be deferred until the next regularly scheduled examination.
